Doomers are missing the point, whether accidentally - or intentionally.
Those machines were designed from the ground up, software and operating system code, hardware, internet access - to be hacked and hide it from prying eyes(including basic audits). It was found to have close to 50 'vulnerabilities' - and that was what was found with less than a week digging by people, including its own operating manual.
Results going in have no relation to results coming out - whoever is paying the most can get whatever results they want including 'just winning by a hair to seem fair'.
Any race they were used in must be assumed to have been bought by someone and not valid. Anyone saying "we need proof or else" - is either idiotic or in on the crimes at this point.
The Conservative race works a bit differently. They do elections until one person gets more than 50% of the vote, and each time they drop off the last-place candidate. The backers of lower candidates picked Scheer because a lot of them were connected to the dairy industry and they absolutely couldn't abide getting rid of our Soviet-style dairy supply management system.
Sometimes you just have to accept that the party has more than a few cucks in it, and also that dairy farmers bought party memberships for the explicit purpose of keeping the protectionist status quo.
But Max checked all the boxes for a leader with a backbone vs. scheer especially. I think it was more that the party didn't want Max as a leader rather scheer cheating, fuckin assholes.
There was not a "last minute bump" for Scheer. Why must you people lie about everything? Don't you realize that if the truth isn't on your side, it means you're in the wrong?
Lol, what did you expect when you shacked up with a community of conspitards?
Well, I didn't "shack up with a community of conspitards" exactly. We migrated over here (because there were signs the subreddit was imminently going to be banned) and sadly the conspitards gained critical mass early, meaning that's all there is now because when sane, mainstream conservatives come here, they just see walls of Qanonsense and PPCtardation and then they leave (understandably).
So this place started as a reasonable forum and was then taken over by conspitards who've been chasing away all the sane people ever since. Now it's nothing but wall to wall, ceiling to floor crazy 24/7. Like it's 99% people who unironically believe in Qanon and think Benrier is going to be PM. Very little sanity left in these parts. And when sanity does rear its head on rare occasion, it's downvoted and harassed into oblivion.
I guess the Qtard/PPCtard phenomenon isn't altogether dissimilar from how the 1488ers take over spaces. If you tolerate them, they'll tell their fiends and their numbers will rapidly grow in your forum. Then they'll quickly reach critical mass, after which all the sane people will flee because sane people don't hang out in crazy people spaces, and the few who do stay will get stomped with relentless harassment until they leave, which is what the PPCtard/Qtards do to sane people here.
Worst part is, they've permanently ruined the brand (a brand they didn't build, but rather infected and destroyed) by making PPCtardation and Qtardation the bulk of the content here. So it's highly unlikely anything can be salvaged from this.
Edit: I guess that's the online free-speech paradox. If you're the only show in town that permits it, you WILL get taken over by malignant and toxic groups who aren't welcome anywhere else, and your brand will be ruined. These people are kind of making a case for why platforms should apply strong moderation to keep them from turning to shit, rather than taking a laissez-faire approach, letting the forum turn into a dumpster fire, which kills traffic and makes the forum a failure.
Despite the q people there’s still good content and discussion that makes this worth visiting. Actual discussion and evidence of things pertaining to inflation, immigration, unemployment, covid mortality, police overreach, that wouldn’t otherwise be able to continue. This community is still mild relative to something like poal
It will be interesting to see what happens with gab. Now that mainstream moderation has gotten a lot less moderate, an influx of right leaning people might pull the culture in a more reasonable direction
So, the exact same thing that happened in the last leadership election, except it was the establishment pick (McKay) who got overtaken by the 2nd place guy (O'Toole) in the last last round.
Because that's how fucking ranked ballots work. EVERY remaining candidate gets a boost EVERY round when the eliminated candidate's downballot points get distributed to the remaining candidates.

No, I bought it up because it discredits your little "Scheer was in second place and then won in the last round! That's prof that it was rigged!" conspiracy theory, since the same exact thing happened in the 2020 leadership election except it was the establishment pick who was in first place and then lost in the final round.
That doesn't change the fact that what happened in the 2020 leadership election discredits your half-baked conspiracy theory about the 2017 leadership election.

Dairy cartels own the conservative party somehow (cause everyone loves shit tear cheese, eggs and milk at high prices)
Yep, oh well

Should have stayed on Reddit.
