Democracy is a joke. American election should be the only lesson you need - if they dont like your vote, they will just install their puppet by force.
Money is power.
It's a good thing we have the Greens and the NDP and that Canadians actually vote for them, else we end up pwnd by the extremely wealthy like the US.
Even at that, I fear the extremely wealthy Canadians who give money to our political parties have expectations.
