Would it be a good idea for Canadians to start their own Patriotic Party, with the same logo and branding? You could closely cooperate with Trump. Possibly even have Ted Cruz as Chairman if he is still a Canadian citizen.
This would mark the transition from "Make America Great Again" to "Make Earth Great Again", a truly worldwide movement.

Pretty sure Canada has a low voter turnout and a large part of that is people who feel the whole government is corrupt. Which it is. And that sense is only growing stronger.
If someone could actually run on decent principles and cleaning up the corruption, and actually succeed, they would have support. Leslin Lewis' platform was pretty decent. But, the corruption in the party wouldn't let her win.
As we see in the US, the deep state is very, very powerful, enough to steal an election and get away with no investigations.

"The same logo and branding" will never fly. A lot of Canadians' identity is comprised of "We're not Americans" so having a Canadian political party that's the same as an American one would be anathema to them.
The bigger question is, even if the Patriot Party is created, will it ever elect a single MP? The People's Party hasn't even accomplished that yet.
Make non-cucked Conservatives from other parties change affiliation. It's that simple. Try to win already-elected people.
Perhaps you could make a compromise. Separate the country into two or three parts. The Maritime Provinces and Loyalist parts of Ontario form their own country, with close ties to UK, NZ and Australia. Quebec, excluding the French-speaking parts, becomes a republic. The Western provinces form their own Republic closely tied to or join the US.

Bernier's party got zero seats in 2019. And his competition for the conservative vote was Andrew Scheer.
Mulroney was the incumbent Prime Minister. Scheer was a manilla envelope taped to a beige wall.
Manning based his party on regional discontent that the West was being ignored by Ottawa (which was true). Bernier based his party on losing the CPC leadership race to said manilla envelope.
He did manage to put up candidates in all(?) ridings, but it was a poorly planned, hastily executed operation. I'd argue that the PPC shouldn't have run at all in 2019 and spent at least two years building a base before contesting a general election.
I voted PPC all the same, but mostly because the vote of a conservative in Ottawa Centre doesn't count for anything.

Someone tried that already. It was called "The People's Party of Canada" and it completely flopped (zero seats and 1.6% of the vote in the 2019 election). Trump's situation is different because he's got 80million supporters, most of whom will walk away from the Republican party and follow him to a new party if he creates it.
We don't have a Trump here in Canada.

Nobody. And even if such a person did exist, Trump is extremely unpopular in Canada so he'd get his ass kicked, like Bernier's PPC did in 2019.
You can't go around looking for Trumps in each country and expect that to work as an election strategy. Every country has completely different political circumstances, different histories, different expectations from their leaders.
Looking for "the Canadian Trump" or "the German Trump" or "the French Trump" is silly. Trump worked for the US because of the US's unique political circumstances at the time - circumstances that don't apply to Canada or Germany or France.

Somebody that understood bargaining from a position of weakness like Harper.
