Older Canadian's are lucky millennials don't slit their stupid throats for the insane mess that has been left for them.
Older generations - I'm looking at you, boomer - never fought a minute of their pathetic lives for their millennial children, left them mountains of debt, divorce, perversion, and a godless society that freaks and the degenerate run.
Millennials never got the cheap houses and golden handshakes previous generations did, but they did get all the disgusting seeping shit left to them to fix.
Ya, millennials complain, but not as much as those boomer scumbags that still infest our universe .
My dads friend lost his job. I mentioned how easy it is to start a business. He said thats too hard. So he went to work for amazon who opened a business in his name and now works as a contractor. So he opened a business just not on his terms. This is why canada needs this shit accelerated. Some folks are so brainwashed.
You know whats hard? Living 2 weeks away from poverty lol
I bet you not one of these whiny losers applied to work in a logging camp or mine or oil patch job etc. Your never going to make big bucks working some ratshit job in town. Make ends meet with your grocery store job then start looking for something better and when someone offers you a chance take it and stick it out. A few winters ago I got offered a forestry job. I took it and worked my ass off and made mediocre money but it led to an oil patch job where I was working twelve hour days for multiple weeks at a time and I made a years wage in a couple of months. How many of these whiners would just say no if given the chance at adventure/hard work and decent wages because they just want to loaf around and work retail?
My friends outside of canada can buy homes in canada and my friends here in canada talk about moving to the bush. So many folks have forfeited half their measily wages that its impossible to reverse course. Grandmas house is gone in a generation
You love your work when you work for yourself. Itts when we show up on mondays for others thats the problem for me.
I flip thrift store goods and restore antiques. I find collectibles along the way, i get to shop, make things better with my hands and connect them to folks who would appreciate them and all quality stuff. Hard not to get behind that.
I moved to SK from BC. Not my plan, but to pursue career goals and the cost of living is reasonable (but not by much) compared to the rest of the provinces.
Adapt. Do something. Open a business online or use kijiji/fb marketplace. Not sure why canadians cant figure this shit out. Pandemic proof your life, get financially indeoendent.
My friends wife clued in this pandemic is overblown and is concerned she might be a conspiracy theorist lol
What the fuck do you do with folks who wont trust their own eyes and ears or use their own hands and legs?
The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. His heart sank as he thought of the enormous power arrayed against him, the ease with which any Party intellectual would overthrow him in debate, the subtle arguments which he would not be able to understand, much less answer. And yet he was in the right! They were wrong and he was right.
I imagine like most if you went to a new place, no connections, no friends youll see things fresh. Most of us walk by money making opportunities everyday, chasing pennies to lose dollars.
I recently got back to canada and noticed plenty of ways to make money that i hadnt thought of before. In two months i went from flipping furniture from thrift stores on a bicycle to buying a van and scaling up. Made 2000k cash my first month. Its doable, just throw some lines out and start small. Anything worth doing is worth doing at home first.
One of the reasons i want to move back to vietnam is that my social life was drinking tea and eating bun cha, joints and coffee and beers with the boys. Im lucky if i get together with friends every two weeks let alone daily for hours at a time in big groups. Nobody has any free time here, and with everything locked down and it open there the rest of my family is considering the same, especially my mom of all people. When moms done you know shits up lol
In canada were weekend warriors, we dont do hobbies we go to the bars and unwind and go hard, its not my style any more but i get it, 40 hours + isnt a balanced life style and we need to manage our energy and time better going forward.
Meanwhile in many places there is no struggle to balance friends, work, family and recreation. I worry for canadians. They seem isolated and on the verge of going fringe.
Essential or disposable? He needs to realize hes canon fodder in the commie take over and should be grateful for the claps lol
free food and housing. Whats not to love?
