Tbh, it wasn't the Liberals which ended this immigration policy. The "Progressive" Conservatives under Diefenbaker ended Mackenzie King's immigration policy.
Very true. Even under Diefenbaker we were considered the most "progressive" developed nation in the Commonwealth.
