COVID isn't lethal to the overwhelming majority of the population, but we treat it as if it were and that is far more cataclysmic than even the worst modeling of the disease itself.
I don't know about you but i like tasting things. Plus with it's sneaky spread if we ignored it it would end up in our vulnerable populations and be lethal anyways.
