You can't buy a small truck anymore. They died out 15 years ago. I know on old Dodge 50 with 500,000km (must be on it's 5th set of rings and bearings) and the owner has no intentions in replacing it. Joke is the ignition swith is so worn out his keys fall out so it doesn't bother using them.
True, mid-size trucks of today are as big as full size ones from three decades ago. And honestly they aren't worth it either. A Ford Ranger will cost you the same as a F150.
Though Ford is coming out with a new small pickup, the Maverick. But I don't know if people will call it a truck, since it's not body on frame.
