There must be some way to commission statues on rented public or private property. Make it a feel good community involvement. Raise the funds. Get a sculptor. It would be neat and it could be written off as a non-profit.

So far the communists got Victoria, Regina. A violent mob in Montreal pulled theirs down. Police did fuck all while a mob pulled a statue off a 20 foot high plinthe. Totally irresponsible.

There needs to have been some pushback for this sort of thing years ago.
