Ancient Egypt existed for thousands of years, and at times (especially during the Late Period) they had foreign rulers over them, including the Nubians to the South.
That said, the "race" of the Ancient Egyptians is moot to me. Culturally they shared much with their fellow Mediterranean and Middle Eastern neighbours regarding trade, etc.
Unlike many other ancient civs, we have legible records from various points in time, so we have a very good idea on who lived in Egypt across several millennia.
The 'we wuz kangz' is a lazy concept that basically attempts to assert that because Egypt is on the African continent, it must have been populated by 'blacks'. An argument that terse will only convince the uneducated and ignorant, which unfortunately make up the majority of western society today.
I don't think genetics play into it that much, it likely has more to do with culture. Thomas Sowell has some great material on this in his book 'Black Rednecks and White liberals' where he explains why the Left likes to sell race-based hustling propaganda. Turns out that the 'deep south black culture' originates from whites in Northeastern England (crazy, but true when you look at the data)
He addresses your points regarding this in his books, and I encourage you to read them before making assumptions. he always cites data when making a claim. I recall one video where he touches on blacks that grew up in Germany after ww2 (sons and daughters of soldiers) and how their mannerisms and culture differed very little from the native German population. that's just one example, the book is more thorough.
