Mistake to pull gun, but not to shoot him. They are just lucky he didnt pull a gun and shoot anyone when he broke free and fled in the vehicle, which is also a weapon that could have killed people, including the officers. They should ahve put him on the ground and kneeled on him to prevent his movement during the arrest since he has outstanding warrants.
