Until he runs into traffic.
You know you've gone too far when even Catherin McKenna implies this might be a little too authoritarian.
Good thing Dougy knows where to score some "ice", because he's gonna need it for that burn.
The problem is Ford is surrounding himself with "health experts" who don't give two shits about civil liberties because that's not their wheelhouse, and there's no civil liberties advocates in the room to counterbalance them because anyone who speaks out about their civil liberties is a "crazy conspiracy theorist" in this country (especially in the radically left-wing Toronto bubble where all these decisions are made).
We all know people IRL who's position is "Any amount of infringement on civil liberties is justified if it saves even one life". Well that's all Ford has advising him is people like that. "Health experts" in particular. As such, he's lost all perspective. That's why his decisions look increasingly bizarre and off the rails to the general public. The "Health experts" probably interpret these public reactions evidence that the "civil liberties" crazies are starting to take over, meaning they have to push harder to stop the crazies winning.
This government has completely lost the plot.
At the end of the day it's his job to balance the recommendation of the experts with his duty to uphold rights and do what's right. He failed to do so. Thus he should be charged and put on trial for his crimes.
Someone should check these "health experts" for ties to the CCP.
Yes exactly, north America is being bribed and bought by the CCP. There is some sinister shit going on
