I don't see the connection between the two debates.
All I know is that if Canada had a neighbor that constantly committed terrorist acts against our people, that was committed to the destruction of Canada and that refused every opportunity at peace, we might occasionally cross a few moral lines when defending the security of our people too. Criticize Israel when it's warranted but be grateful that you don't have to deal with the problems they have.
