It's intentional. They ignore the story and dismiss it as a "far right propaganda piece".

The masses never stop to think "But did it actually happen? And if so why don't you cover it more accurately?". The mass media just orders them to close their eyes, cover their ears, and shut off their brains. And they happily oblige.
