This is terrible. The police are choosing who can exercise their lawful constitutional rights based on skin color or cause - the charter rights to free expression and peaceful assembly are not limited by ethnicity of the speaker or participant or by the nature of the cause. Permitting one group while allowing others is a clear violation of rights. But no judge in Canada would have the balls to make this ruling. Canadian institutions are weak.
