My mom is forcing me to get the vaccine (she's threatening to kick me out and not pay for tuition) and, although I'd prefer to not get it at all I would like to avoid the mRNA vaccines at all cost. Is it possible for me to get any of the other ones? I know they have their issues, but that's in the short term, I'm more concerned about the potential long term ramifications of mRNA.

The reason it's so tough is because of the school.
Still get a job. You won't have 60 hours a week of classes and doing homework in your first year. Doesn't matter which degree you're going for and doesn't matter which uni you're attending. You will have time. And earning your own money will give you freedom.
This subthread turned into the cult of work preaching... Who can outwork everyone else? It's good to be able to handle a lot sometimes but it's not good to assume it's healthy all the time. It's better to work intelligently than to work like a dog assuming it's gonna get you somewhere.
Some programs especially when it's a university with a reputation can easily consume your waking life almost entirely.
