I don't live in a city, I live in a town. Orangeburg, South Carolina. Majority black town with a sizeable white population but not even close to approaching majority.

Race relations are fine. White people and black people get along well. Everyone provides the other with that iconic southern American hospitality and what not. Of course, as statistically, most Black people are Democrats, the town was dominated with Biden/Harris signs came election time but it never resulted in some Portland, Oregon type shit where some unhinged communist starts fucking with someone elses property.

Lately, I've come to realize that I've fallen into the trap of seeing some shit in the news which happens in some shit hole city and saying to myself "This is the whole country." It's a stupid line of thinking and now that I'm being more aware of that idiocy, my mental health is improving.
