I would say they're interviewing no one or only specially selected people.

The politicians have goals and use the MSM to set the narrative to "convince" others to believe they're in a minority and to "switch sides."

It used to be a much more powerful tool, until a huge chunk of the population caught on to the fact the MSM lies all the time, not just once in a while.

Now there's no going back for the media, so the only option they have is to double down on their lies, no matter what.
