Many people I've talked to assumed that when we closed the US land border, we also restricted air travel to/from the USA as well.

When told thay this wasn't the case, their tune quickly changed to "What the fuck is the point of keep the land border closed then?"

There's selective information being fed here to keep people fearful and in favor of stupid policies.
