I live in shithole Toronto in a relatively nice condo build
Masks are required in elevators and common areas (barring medical exemption)
I get confronted easily 4-5 times weekly for not wearing a mask in elevator
I used to say "sorry I'm medically exempt" but after 50 of these confrontations I'm done explaining myself and I usually just go with a hard "no"
Last week had a guy who wouldn't get on, asked why I wasn't masked up, I said "don't feel like it"
He follows with "oh that's nice, what floor do you live on?" (presumably to report me)
At the point now where I don't even dread the interactions anymore - I'm just having fun with it.
Anyone have some good one liners for the inevitable "do you have a mask", "where's your mask" etc?
I'm in a condo in downtown / midtown Toronto as well (pretty much the SJW/libtard central of Canada and maybe the world); haven't worn a mask inside the building, ever. Got asked maybe 3-4 times by the concierge (different people) back in the Fall of 2020, told them it was due to a health condition, was never mentioned again.
Only time someone else mentioned it, was a "karen" who shut up immediately after the health condition comment.
I try to take the elevators by myself if I can, and whether someone else gets in or not, it's really up to them. So far, about 50% of the people don't mind sharing an elevator, the others wait for another one.
Also about 5% to 10% of other residents also don't wear a mask inside for whatever reason they may have.
