You are describing hierarchy in general, there will always be rich and poor, local government and world powers, these things haven't changed.
The difference is that in the traditional capitalist system, you can learn a skill or start a business and grow your wealth. Many people who began dirt poor in life accumulated wealth and became wealthy. In fact, most of the top 10% of earners in the USA/Canada didn't start there, they worked their way up.
In the New World Order, there will be no economic mobility. The rich will stay rich and the poor will remain poor. We will lose our working class and middle class comforts such as multi-room homes, and protein rich food in favour of shared accommodation and less sustaining food (bugs, yum)
Eventually they want to abolish the concept of ownership, making the majority of people serfs. "You will own nothing, and you will be happy."
The Great Reset is the end state of "more of the same" - it's where it leads.
Think North Korea, but globally. A quasi-stable dystopia where an elite ruling class lives well and the working class barely subsists. Where you have no rights whatsoever. Where your family belongs to the state. Where even reading an unauthorized book, let alone dissent, is punishable by death.
People seem to think it's a joke that this is the destination of all this globalization. That's why it will happen - when you refuse to believe psychopaths exist, they eat you.
The Bible promises this will fail. But it will fail in a "great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world's beginning, nor will occur again". So a great reset is coming regardless, we show all the characteristics of a late stage civilization that's bordering on a collapse into dark ages.
Actually this is closer to spot on than anyone realizes.
Here is the fundamental answer: The overall moral and spiritual health of the polity is going to determine this.
Psychopaths cannot control a healthy strong conscience. There will always be megalomaniacs who have final solutions to propose for the challenges of life and society. In a healthy civilization, like most of the past 150 to 250 years North America enjoyed, tyrants are very limited in what they can actually carry out. There are mechanisms to hold them accountable, via imprisonment, exile, or execution.
If we hang (insert ruling class person here) - it won't solve the fundamental problem, another psychopath will take their place.
As the polity rots morally, the mechanisms to hold people accountable start to break down. We're in a late stage of this and it is too late for an easy reversal. So people stop trying to fix anything and just worry about getting theirs. The bible describes this cycle in every civilization that has ever existed.
We will either have a revival in values significant enough that the tyrants cease to have any power, and their megalomaniacal machinations retreat from being policy back into their twisted imaginations, or we will plunge into cataclysm. There is no one fix that will solve this.
Honestly fantastic points all around. Even committing to only a third of these is not only great for tackling the reset head-on, but just good general-purpose life advice too.
