Some terrible things there, gotta say. Perhaps there's an organization you could reach out to, when it comes to some of the more extreme cases of neglect/mismanagement.

Regardless, keep in mind that documentation and evidence are key when contacting someone who can help, so the next time you witness any extreme behaviour maybe you could film it with your phone or at least record the audio.

Not sure of any other advice I could give at the moment, but it was certainly interesting & eye-opening to hear the insider version of what's going on in those places.
