CPC voted by secret ballot to remove actual conservative Derek Sloan from the party. They are scum and I will never vote for them again. They are the LPC but even less competent.
if Max were to win you can bet you ass he'd shake thing up big time.
If Max were to win, they'd have to resign and call a new election within six weeks of taking office so someone else could take over. Think about it. None of those candidates even know how to be a backbench MP, let alone staff and run a cabinet i.e. lead and manage a federal government. Like who the the fuck is going to be Defence minister? Justice minister? Finance minister? Renata Ford? Rocky Dong
You guys haven't even thought this through. It doesn't matter how much you agree with "Mad Max's" tweets, the PPC trying to form a government would be a total disaster. The major parties know how to govern through 150 years experience, passed down from one generation of MPs and cabinet ministers to the next. Aside from Bernier's limited experience (he only entered politics in 2006) nobody in that party is remotely qualified to run a government. Like how would the PPC caucus even learn how to MP? Whos' going to train them when to show up in the house, how to cast a vote, all that shit? Nobody (except Max) would even know how to do anything. And it's not like the other side's MPs are going to help them. Why would they?
but if you want real change (I don't) you'd cast a vote for Max.
No, because casting a vote for Max will only get you another term for Trudeau. That's the opposite of change.
I've posted this repeatedly, but you guys either just ignore it or dodge it by saying "Durr the CPC won't do any of that anyway", as if the exact same couldn't be said about Bernier and any of his policies.
You don't see a difference between:
Balanced budgets vs massive deficits?
Removing interprovincial trade barriers vs keeping them?
Cutting taxes vs increasing them?
Ending cooperate welfare vs keeping it?
Building pipelines vs not building pipelines?
A $50/tonne carbon tax vs a $170/tonner carbon tax?
Imposing mandatory minimum sentences for violent criminals vs no mandatory minimums?
Reforming the Not Criminally Responsible Designation to prioritize public safety vs prioritizing the fee-fees of killers?
Addressing rural crime vs ignoring it?
Passing an act to prevent radicals blocking roads and railways vs leaving the radicals to block whatever they want?
Reducing reliance on foreign oil vs keeping us reliant on it?
Fixing equalization payments so Alberta stops getting fucked vs leaving it as is?
Closing the safe 3rd country loophole vs leaving it open?
Turning illegal immigrants away vs accepting them?
Reversing Trudeau’s appeasement of Communist China vs continuing it?
Cracking down on the efforts of the Chinese Communist Party to infiltrate Canadian institutions vs leaving China to do what they want here?
Suspending the Canada-China Legislative Association vs keeping it?
Increasing military funding vs lowering it?
Making defence procurement the responsibility of a single minister vs leaving it split between multiple ministers and departments?
Unfucking the arbitrary firearms classification system vs leaving it as is?
Making it legal to discharge a restricted firearm on your property vs forcing you to take it to a gun club to shoot?
Getting clean drinking water to FN reserves vs leaving them to rot?
Focusing immigration on skilled labour for which there's an unmet demand vs letting in every sick, lame, lazy, elderly, useless sack of shit in the world?
Reducing even skilled immigration levels if/when post-covid unemployment is high (which it will be for years) vs keeping the flood gates open regardless of unemployment levels?
Ending Trudeau's media bailout vs keeping the media on the gov't dole?
Ending funding to CBC digital vs funding them?
Cutting funding for CBC English TV and News Network by 50% vs maintaining or increasing their funding?
Passing a law against the government using ideological purity tests to determine who gets a job or who gets funding vs allowing ideological purity tests?
Stopping Trudeau’s Internet Takeover vs allowing it?
Now, far more importantly than any of that: You mean to tell me that you've taken a hardline PPC loyalist stance.......and you haven't even read the parties' platforms????? Instead, your entire political worldview is based on what random idiots on discussion boards tell you?
Holy fucking shit man. This is why I keep calling you guys politically illiterate. Like what kind of politically literate person has to go on anonymous message boards to get random strangers to explain the differences between parties to them? That's not right. If that's where you're at in terms of political knowledge, you don't get to make authoritative statements about which party is better or advise anyone else on who they should vote for.
The main difference between O’Tool and Trudeau is that O’Tool is fat and bald.
CPC voted by secret ballot to remove actual conservative Derek Sloan from the party. They are scum and I will never vote for them again. They are the LPC but even less competent.
O'Toole says he'll roll back the May 1st 2020 OIC firearms ban.
Beyond that, I find it hard to find a substantial difference.

Ok. There isn't a single thing on Bernier's platform that isn't just political speak.

Well they'll certainly never be accomplished by the PPC because they'll never get elected.
one prints money like crazy, the other doesn't
