It's public property and the public authority has made a decision it expects will cause controversy.
The police take political direction.
You do not see the churches questioning that.
It depends on the case. Here, we are subject to a people with treaty rights....and their woke supporters.
Many treaty rights people are very much against the violence but are hard pressed to stop it.
We'll figure it out.
