I would believe that, hence my cadaver dogs on reserves comment. I'm not sure if they would be mostly spontaneous murders of "annoying" women or in anger due to theft or other behavior on the part of the female, or to cover-up rape or what.
They choose their a words and stats carefully to paint a picture (“mass graves”) while conveniently leaving out other key details.
The NEWS (CBC) went from "graves" to "remains" to "bodies" ... despite that none of it has been proved so far (though certainly it is known that some schools had graves ONCE MARKED with wooden markers which rotted away.
