Women are biologically drawn to professions in caregiving. If they choose that as a career, there is a trade off of doing what they love for less pay.

Professions such as caregiving are not undervalued, they are undercut by a majority workforce of new immigrants and temporary foreign workers who are willing to do caregiving jobs for low wages.
