This is nothing compared to Canada Post.
What are you talking about? Canpost has way better rates than fedex and purlator. They're not even close. Better tracking too.
Puro is kinda poor too. It’s owned 51% by a crown Corp Canada post, so 51% useless. UPS and fedex are way better.
Canada Post fun fact for Americans reading this: I can order something from New Zealand via NZ post, and it takes less time to get to Canada than it does to get to the office in a major Canadian city once it lands in Canada.
We don't have usps in canada.
USD or CND regardless Wagyu is never that cheap, no way that's real Wagyu
It’s not a prime cut either.
Post the in store prices to end the horror
I’ll send some prices from here in Brazil but you may have a heart attack! Cheap, delicious and plentiful.
Filet is a tenderloin with some of the crap removed, otherwise it’s a fair comparison though the price per kilo at the local stores is usually closer to R$30 / kg (about USD $6). Check out the website of Pao De Acucar for example. This is the leading grocery chain in SP.
Beef is very widely eaten in Brazil. More so than in Canada. But preferred cuts are somewhat different. While filet is a prime cut everywhere it is not sought out as much here.
Picanha is highly sought after, and other cuts such as fraldihna, bife ancho (from Uruguay and Argentina), contra file etc. Most diners (lanchonette’s and padarias) will have a basic steak lunch for $4-5.
BBQ restaurants are very popular in many parts of the country and the southern neighbors.
In addition, the beef is very tasty. If you get a chance, and you are a beef eater, make a trip one day to Brazil and Argentina. You will not be disappointed.
Now I’m hungry.
You are very welcome.
I may be a random internet guy but I’ve been on this site for a while.
I’m a Canadian. I live in South East Asia but spend a lot of time in Brazil and Canada because of family.
I am now in Brazil but I’ll be traveling to Canada next month for a while.
My continued interest in Canada stems from my desire not to see it fall apart because of poor governance.
Good luck!
Tastes like rainforest destruction
I wouldn’t know. The beef I get is from the south of the country, Uruguay and Argentina.
Shoot a deer, stock your freezer.
Also the price of decent import euro cheese in Canada is simply eye watering. Record price I saw was $80 a KILO/2.2lbs for a fancy French blue cheese.
All the imports come in pathetic plahnk length sized packages because otherwise sticker shock would floor people.
Normal crappy macro produced Kraft rubbish? $16 CAD a kg. Unreal. And the price of milk… JESUS. Over $5 CAD a gallon.
prime rib vs blade steak.
