It's simple supply and demand. Nothing changes until these people stop supporting the market being endlessly flooded with excess demand via mass immigration.
You can't speak about immigration on that subreddit anymore or you get banned, immigration apparently has nothing to do with the crisis lmao.

I'd say the problem is more foreign ownership. Look at new condo buildings, and there's maybe one light on per floor at night. Most of the units are owned by people in China who have no intention of staying there. Government response is to raise taxes on foreign-owned property. "Yes, nobody can afford a house, but at least WE get more money. So it works out!"
