I do not understand why some people think turning a tap on and receiving water is the government’s responsibility, especially when they live in remote wilderness communities.
And water was never 100% clean and safe from lakes or rivers, it has always been full of harmful pathogens.
Yes. It's racist to believe that the government must pay for your water if you are aboriginal. And treating aboriginals like children does them no favors in the long run.
