So how come Scheer and the federal Conservatives didn't get painted with the #metoo brush they concocted for Patrick Brown?
If O'Toole loses the next election (and I even admit that there is a chance, well small chance, that he could win it), it won't be because of the PPC and their voters.
It's not just the count of actual votes moved from the blue column moved to the purple that's important. That cost probably pales in comparison to the support eroded by demoralization.
Remember before this stupid PPC nonsense started and there was just one unified right devoting all their efforts to taking down Trudeau? The PPC fucking obliterated that. Just look at metacanada. It went from high-energy anti-Trudeau meme-factory to cesspit of infighting overnight when Benrier launched that stupid party. Forget the number of actual votes siphoned off of the CPC by the PPC. What is the cost of the right being demoralized for four years by constant infighting? I would submit that you're seeing that cost in the polls right now.
And for what? To support some sham party that will never even win a seat.
The PPC is the best thing that's ever happened to the Liberals.
So how come Scheer and the federal Conservatives didn't get painted with the #metoo brush they concocted for Patrick Brown?
Did Patrick Brown get removed from the CPC on the same day as the allegations have been made public? Yes. That's why Scheer wasn't painted with the #metoo brush. Brown was removed as leader faster than Scheer can spell minivan.
Are Kenney and Ford being removed for being against vaccine passports? No. O'Toole will be standing with them and campaign with them.
That cost probably pales in comparison to the support eroded by demoralization.
That demoralization is caused by an uncharismatic and a weak CPC leadership. If the leader of the Conservatives talks and acts like the leader of the Liberals, it will demoralize the base. It's not Bernier's fault or some shitheads memeing for the PPC on a 200 user forum who are causing this demoralization. What you think the cause of the infighting is, is just the a symptom.
That demoralization is caused by an uncharismatic and a weak CPC leadership.
Stop it.
It's caused by a radical right-wing fringe who've been legitimized and emboldened by a charlatan presenting them with a sham party which in turn has given them the impetus to attack the mainstream conservative party - because they naively think they can make something of their joke party if they "bring down" the CPC. So now the CPC is being attacked from both sides instead of just one, and the sum effect of that is a declining CPC and by extension an increasingly unassailable LPC.
THAT is what the right has to show for this all this PPC bullshit.
You really think that Scheer and O'Toole were and are charismatic and strong leaders? O'Toole can't even siphon a single voter from the Liberals, even after adopting almost every Liberal policy and after 6 years of non-stop scandals by Trudeau and the Liberals. They are now constantly polling under 30% for the last few months. If O'Toole's strategy of courting Liberals to vote for the CPC would work, then what the PPC does or doesn't do wouldn't matter. Also the LPC is attacked from four sides at once and not a single liberal retard is as much whining about the NDP, the Greens, the Bloc or the CPC as you whine about the PPC.
This is what O'Toole hast to show for his strategy.

You think Harper was? He was every bit as milquetoast as O'Toole, if not moreso.
