Conventional wisdom says if PPC rises in support, it hurts O'toole and helps Trudeau. Well the media has completely ignored PPC and Max this election. They would rather have O'toole become PM than to have Max gain support. Clearly Max is a threat to the globalists long term plans. If O'toole was a threat, wouldn't they promote Max and PPC at least somewhat to ensure a Trudeau victory?

You're missing one important variable: It has to be positive media coverage of the PPC in order for it to help Max/Trudeau and hurt O'Toole. What could the media possibly report about the PPC that would be flattering in the eyes of the average moderate swing voter? That people keep bringing nazi flags to Max's rallies? That they're all antivaxxers who believe in QAnon? Any honest coverage of the PPC would actually hurt the PPC with prospective voters (i.e. sane people), not help them. So the best thing the media can do for the PPC to preserve their support is just ignore them. Any amount of sunlight they shed on the PPC would diminish any chance them gaining new voters.
I argue with PPC supporters on twitter regularly who are completely ignorant about their party. They have no idea Bernier is a Quebec separatist. They never heard of the time he called Kellie Leitch a "Karaoke version of Trump" because she was tough on immigration. They don't know anything except what Bernier tweets. The PPC sustains itself on ignorance. So the media educating the public on the PPC would be counterproductive for the PPC and by extension Trudeau.
It makes me so happy to see the PPC gain traction at the cost of Cons and Libs.
Perhaps by next election cycle PPC will make some big gains.
You sound optimistic there will be another election cycle. I hope there is no hard lockdown before this election. I hope a crucial number of ridings do not flip because of mail in votes on the 13th hour.
I wholly expect when the CPC get into power, there will be hard lockdowns, forced vax, children separated from parents, and passports required to get groceries. Flu season is coming!
The media wouldn't be targeting the "average moderate swing voter" when they would cover Bernier and the PPC. They would aim for the anti-lockdown crowd, which is mainly on the conservative side of the political spectrum.
But the reason the media isn't covering Bernier and the PPC is that they are irrelevant. There are only three parties covered nationwide. The Cons, the Libs and the NDP. The Bloc is also covered in Quebec. And the Greens? No one cares about them, just like with the PPC. Therefore no media coverage.
