They won't even start counting the mail-in ballots until Tuesday so no.

This is not true. Mail in ballots have to be returned before the polls are closed and they are counted with the other ballots.

Whatever the case they're declaring close ridings was "elected" (on CPAC, at least).

Supposedly they aren't sent to each riding for counting, so it's all done at a central place...?

Talk radio said they don't count them until the polls have all closed to ensure there aren't double voters, then it will take 24-48 hours so close ridings won't be called until Wednesday or Thursday.

Would they likely influence things in any way that isn't NDP or Liberal? Just based off what happened in the US, I know a lot of conservatives didn't trust their mailed in ballots to be counted
