Makes a nice graph but it just reflects the fact that there are vastly more vaccinated people than unvaccinated.
If you go to the same graph and choose the "Rate per 100,000" you'll see that the unvaccinated are comfortably ahead of the vaccinated with 24.29 to 17.20 cases per 100,000. https://covid-19.ontario.ca/data
But it's worth noting that the gap is closing. Just 4 days ago the unvaccinated were leading by 2 to 1. It looks like the Omicron variant could be spreading through everyone without much regard to vaccination status.
So the big question now is how sick will everyone get? If we're lucky its effects will be relatively mild on everyone. If we're not, and Omicron starts sending people into hospitals, what do you think the chances are it will be the unvaccinated who will be over-represented again?
