Everybody that's pushing this is basing it on the promise of what vaccines were supposed to do (eg. prevent spread), not on what they actually do (improves your chances of not having a serious outcome if you get covid, but does not prevent spread).

On an unrelated note, anybody that wants to buy table salt at the grocery store should have their blood pressure checked at checkout and those with hypertension should be denied their purchase of table salt. I'm tired of people with hypertension taking up hospital beds.
