"And, Canada plans to ban all imports of crude oil from Russia, an industry that is a major source of Russian federal revenues."
??????
Exactly the opposite of the claim.
Not really, the sanctions were implemented last week and omitted oil.
Today the Liberals announced they would ban the import of Russian oil.
It also appears Canada has not imported oil from Russia since 2019.
I accept this was a pretty weak post.
This does once again expose the absurdity however of an oil producing country relying on despotic regimes for oil.
