The government silently approves and does nothing intentionally. They garner votes from Leftists who champion violence as long as it supports their causes and bigotry. These are often the same people who say any right-wing protesters, even peaceful, law-abiding demonstrators like the majority of the freedom protesters, ought to be imprisoned. The hypocrisy is abhorrent.

I am not really a fan of protesting at all. I believe it ineffective in gaining support or changing minds. Far more so with destructive protests. Leftist favour violence as a form as expression because they are entitled and hateful.
