Thank you for passing on what the voices in your head are telling you.
Scientists out here in the real world have some useful information for you:
"Conclusions - Overall, wearing masks was effective in preventing RVIs, especially SARS, influenza, and COVID-19. Besides, N95 masks, surgical masks, and common masks were all effective for RVIs prevention. This suggests that people should be encouraged to wear masks when they are in a large group of people to reduce the risk of RVIs." 27 April 2022 https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpubh.2022.874693/full
"In our systematic review, we identified 10 RCTs that reported estimates of the effectiveness of face masks in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza virus infections in the community from literature published during 1946–July 27, 2018. In pooled analysis, we found no significant reduction in influenza transmission with the use of face masks"
"Disposable medical masks (also known as surgical masks) are loose-fitting devices that were designed to be worn by medical personnel to protect accidental contamination of patient wounds, and to protect the wearer against splashes or sprays of bodily fluids (36). There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure. Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza."
please stop with the bullshit
before you go but muh influenza, please not that both covid and the flu are both Rhinovirus, and spread by the same methods.
also your vaxxines are shit, stop taking that crap and get proper immunity.
That CDC article was published in May of 2020, so the research was done earlier, before covid, and in fact it states in plain English that it was all about influenza.
So your old CDC link has nothing to do with covid.
Within the last month the CDC has repeatedly recommended the use of masks:
May 3, 2022 "Wearing a well-fitting mask or respirator is most beneficial in crowded or poorly ventilated locations, such as airport jetways. We also encourage operators of public transportation and transportation hubs to support mask wearing by all people, including employees." https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2022/s0503-covid-19-travel.html
May 3, 2022 "CDC recommends properly wearing a well-fitting mask or respirator over the nose and mouth in indoor areas of public transportation (such as airplanes, trains, buses, ferries) and transportation hubs (such as airports, stations, and seaports)" https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/masks-public-transportation.html
CanadianRighty> posts graph showing 16% drop in mask wearing states during omicron
Also CanadianRighty> "masks don't work!"
Masks are bacteria incubators and useless for healthy & asymptomatic people.
Tuchodi> “How dare you be a bacteria incubator denier”.

Nope.
