I just emailed PP about it, who is a heck of a guy.
To say he hasn’t done anything in his political career isn’t giving the devil his due imo.
It’s my impression he orchestrated or at least was fundamental in unseating the “centrist” O’Toole/establishment faction.
He’s drawn crowds from Calgary to Toronto, and allegedly sold 300k CPC memberships.
He sat idly by within the OToole crowd who cheered on the covidian authoritarianism, so like you I’m nowhere near trusting of him.
I won’t call him “a heck of a guy” at this point, but I think he’s already accomplished in politics.
