Still having trouble understanding how it works, eh? Here's a simple version:
Unvaccinated people tend to get sicker than vaccinated people, so they wind up in the hospitals at a higher rate. And they die at a higher rate too, but I'm just mentioning that. They aren't tying up ICU beds then.
Vaccinated people get sick too, but not as bad overall, so they're less of a burden on the healthcare system.
Imagine if everyone was vaccinated -> there would be fewer people in the ICUs.
