Old data. I remember the days when the fearmongering news used to use terms like “breakthrough cases” and “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” They can’t even do that anymore, lest people laugh at the idiocy of the terms. The vaccines had so much promise.
Fixed that for you.
Or maybe you want to post some data that says something else?
It’s kind of hard to post recent data when most Canadian governments stopped posting deaths by vaccination status. We both know why they stopped doing that.
Here's the data for Ontario up to July 21st 2022: https://data.ontario.ca/dataset/deaths-involving-covid-19-by-vaccination-status. You can download it or view it online. The web page will show you graphs if you tell it which fields to use.
Here's BC's report for the last two months: http://www.bccdc.ca/health-professionals/data-reports/covid-19-surveillance-dashboard
They both show that the outcomes for the unvaccinated are worse than for the vaccinated.
I can't find death by vaccine status in your BC link.
But sure enough, I can find it for Ontario. Did you even bother to read the stats in your own link:
July 9, 2022 in Ontario: All - 0.05 deaths per 100,000 for fully vaccinated & boosted. 0.02 deaths per 100,000 for unvaccinated.
July 8, 2022 in Ontario: All - Same ratio as July 9
July 7, 2022 in Ontario: All: Same ratio as July 9
July 6, 2022: in Ontario: All: Same ratio as July 9
July 5, 2022 in Ontario: All: 0.05 deaths per 100,00 for fully vaccinated & boosted. 0.01 deaths per 100,00 for unvaccinated.
July 4, 2022 in Ontario: All: Same ratio as July 5
Let's go a little further back:
May 6, 2022 in Ontario: All: 0.14 deaths per 100,000 for fully vaccinated & boosted. 0.09 deaths per 100,000 for unvaccinated
April 4, 2022 in Ontario: OK, unvaccinated had a slightly higher risk of death from covid - 0.07 vs 0.06. This is within the margin of error, anyway.
So ya, I think we both understand why Canadian governments made death by covid stats difficult to find, whereas just a few months ago they were front and centre, in your face.
By the way, the recent data from your own link shows that you're more likely to die if you have 3+ doses vs just 2.
