I previously posted this. My math was wrong. Damn. I have to post an update.
I stated an incidence rate of 11.68 serious vaccine injuries per 100,000 people. That's actually per 100,000 doses. Canada's population is over 38 million people and they received over 87 million doses. That's an average of 2.67 doses per person. That means an incidence rate of 26.75 serious vaccine injuries per 100,000 people. I'd bet this is even higher due to underreporting of injuries and also due to latent injuries.
These stats look bad, but they're likely really much worse, considering that dying with covid is considered the same thing as dying due to covid when they calculate they death stats.
It doesn't look like anyone's paying attention to this post, but in case they are I'll just repeat that for those numbers to work DD has to believe that recovering from an injury is just as serious as dying.
I doubt DD actually believes that, but there's misinformation to spread so that's what they say.
For the original thread and all the things where nobody dies that DD has to equate to dying see https://omegacanada.win/p/15JAOOozHo/for-every-457-people-that-the-/
Sneaky way to mince words - Not just an injury; serious injury, the type that would ruin your quality of life.
You keep dodging it.
TLDR - OP says recovering from an injury is just as serious an event as dying. It's the only way their numbers will work. They do this because incidents of death are hard to find, and the risk is minuscule compared to death from covid. Especially if you're unvaccinated.
Here is the list of vaccine-related events - besides death - that are considered serious. Anyone reading this will note that it includes things you can recover from.:
"An event is considered serious if it:
is life-threatening (an event/reaction in which the patient was at real, rather than hypothetical, risk of death at the time of the event/reaction)
requires in-patient hospitalization or prolongation of existing hospitalization
results in persistent or significant disability/incapacity, or
results in a congenital anomaly/birth defect"

Didn’t read past this… Kind of disingenuous to phrase it this way when covid vaccine benefits stats are infallible vs vaccine injury stats since governments surreptitiously don’t give us easy access to the injury stats data; they’re grouped in two broad categories and that’s all we get.
My risk comparison is good, given the limited amount of data about vaccine injuries that governments let us consume. Your response is unscientific since it’s not falsifiable.
Folks DD is comparing covid deaths among unvaccinated people - and only those deaths - on the one hand, to the following list of possible vaccine-related injuries besides deaths
"is life-threatening (an event/reaction in which the patient was at real, rather than hypothetical, risk of death at the time of the event/reaction)
requires in-patient hospitalization or prolongation of existing hospitalization
results in persistent or significant disability/incapacity, or
results in a congenital anomaly/birth defect"
https://health-infobase.canada.ca/covid-19/vaccine-safety/ vaccine injuries injuries that people go to the hospital for and then go home.
They believe the two - covid deaths vs vaccine injuries - deserve to be compared as equals despite the fact that you don't get to go home from dying.
As for vaccine-related deaths they insist that number is being covered up because they can't find any data, despite the occasional incident showing up in the MSM: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9732583/Mother-three-47-dies-AstraZeneca-Covid-jab-caused-blood-clots-brain.html
