There are certain standards for limitations of reasonable privacy that you give up to be in society. When you're driving, you're not as private and not as protected from police and society then in your own home or domicile.

Similarly, traveling across provinces or countries during a global pandemic, and considering basic vaccine information "private medical records" is a stretch. They're not asking literally anything else and it's been this way for decades.
