Remember when the pcr test was to be withdrawn on Dec 31st 2021 because it couldn't distinguish between covid and any other form of flu? Remember when Kerry mullis, inventor of the pcr said this is not what the pcr is designed for? What percent of people who claim to have "long covid" volunteered to take the jab?
Nope. It was withdrawn because it could only detect covid and nothing else, because it was developed to look for the presence of a nucleic acid found only in the covid virus. If your sample came back negative and you wanted to know more you had to run more tests.
The replacement test was a "Multiplex Assay" which could identify covid, influenza A, and influenza B. It was a more efficient test.
"In preparation for this change, CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test. CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. Such assays can facilitate continued testing for both influenza and SARS-CoV-2 and can save both time and resources as we head into influenza season."
Who should I believe? Who should I trust? Not you, or the cdc. Both of you are full of shit.
" If your sample came back negative and you wanted to know more you had to run more tests."
Folks, if you read both of those links - the one in my comment and the one in u/Smokestar's - you will see that the first PCR test detected covid and nothing else. The second test detected and identified covid, flu A, and flu B.
The first test:
(From my link): "The first test for COVID-19 diagnosis that CDC distributed, released in February 2020, is the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel, a test that accurately detects SARS-CoV-2 in respiratory specimens."
(From u/Smokestar's link): "CDC will withdraw the request to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the CDC 2019-Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel, the assay first introduced in February 2020 for detection of SARS-CoV-2 only."
The replacement test:
(From my link): "CDC released a second assay in July 2020, the CDC Influenza SARS-CoV-2 (Flu SC2) Multiplex Assay, which permits public health laboratories to run three tests in a single reaction well. The Flu SC2 Multiplex is more efficient in its use of test reagents, allows higher throughput, and simultaneously gives accurate results about the presence of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, and influenza B nucleic acid in a patient specimen."
(From u/Smokestar's link): "CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. Folks, u/Smokestar's mind might already be made up.
Run more tests to compare to what exactly
When the first PCR test came back negative for covid they didn't know what pathogen the sample contained. If it was necessary to find out they had to run more tests, perhaps for flu A and flu B. Once the second test was available it could indicate covid, flu A, or flu B if any of them were present.
"Buried deep in the document, in a section titled, “Performance Characteristics,” we have this: “Since no quantified virus isolates of the 2019-nCoV [SARS-CoV-2] are currently available, assays [diagnostic tests] designed for detection of the 2019-nCoV RNA were tested with characterized stocks of in vitro transcribed full length RNA…” (document page 40, pdf page 41)
The key phrase there is: “Since no quantified virus isolates of the 2019-nCoV [virus] are currently available…”
Every object that exists can be quantified, which is to say, measured. The use of the term “quantified” in that phrase means: the CDC has no virus, because it is unavailable. THE CDC HAS NO VIRUS.
One of the two most powerful public health agencies in the world can’t obtain the virus from anywhere. Why? Obviously, because no one has it.
A further tip-off is the use of the word ‘isolates.” This means NO ISOLATED VIRUS IS AVAILABLE.
Another way to put it: NO ONE HAS AN ISOLATED SPECIMEN OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS.
NO ONE HAS ISOLATED THE COVID-19 VIRUS.
THEREFORE, NO ONE HAS PROVED THAT IT EXISTS.
As if this were not a revelation to shock the world, the CDC goes on to say they are presenting a diagnostic PCR test, in that very paper I’m citing, to detect the virus-that-hasn’t-been-isolated…and the test is looking for RNA which is PRESUMED to come from the virus that hasn’t been proved to exist.
And using this test, the CDC and every other public health agency in the world would go on to count COVID cases and deaths…and governments instituted lockdowns and economic devastation using those case and death numbers as justification.
The pandemic is a fraud, down to the root of the poisonous tree"
