The first 3 points in the study are the most important:

1. no formal risk-benefit assessment exists for this age group;

2. vaccine mandates may result in a net expected harm to individual young people;

3. mandates are not proportionate: expected harms are not outweighed by public health benefits given the modest and transient effectiveness of vaccines against transmission;

All vaccine pushers since the beginning only emphasized how many lives the vaccine saved and how much the vaccine decreases your chances of being hospitalized.

That's all good. But the public was NEVER presented with a cost-benefit analysis like this study does, which weighs the expected costs of the vaccine vs the benefit. All we ever got was some variation of vaccines are "safe and effective." This safe and effective crap is for stupid people.

University booster mandates are unethical because: 1) no formal risk-benefit assessment exists for this age group; 2) vaccine mandates may result in a net expected harm to individual young people; 3) mandates are not proportionate: expected harms are not outweighed by public health benefits given the modest and transient effectiveness of vaccines against transmission; 4) US mandates violate the reciprocity principle because rare serious vaccine-related harms will not be reliably compensated due to gaps in current vaccine injury schemes; and 5) mandates create wider social harms.

He is not the principle researcher and he doesn't have much to do with infectious diseases. He is into anthropology: "Anthropology of health policy, medical anthropology, anthropology of development, political economy of societies in transition". So much for "Harvard Study". This is how they twist the real world into misinformation folks.

The strongest point the pre-print makes is that young people are not as heavily impacted by the virus, and the authors are pretty much solely concerned about mandating vaccinations for "Students at North American universities". Other than that it's that old argument about whether the government has the right to tell people what to do during a new public health emergency.

It will be interesting to see if this paper survives peer review.
