I wonder if "fully understandable" was a signal to his followers that it was okay to burn the churches? Why would he say this?

Does it discount worshipers being terrorised and feeling safe in their house of worship any longer? 71 churches burned and no one cares. One homeless person was arrested and charged in Surrey. Sends a very accepting signal to their base that they won't be procecuted and therefore is effectively procecuting the Christian victims. And since people donate to the church every parisioner was victimized when their interest in the house of worship was destroyed.
