No see it's going to fuck up a lot of people because legacy admissions will be the highest priority. If some kid tries to be the first of his family to go to uni, whatever colour their skin is, they'll have to fight with less qualified but generationally advantaged folk and almost certainly lose.
I don’t agree with legacy admissions, just as I don’t agree with affirmative action. That said, legacy admissions shouldn’t be the reason that people root for affirmative action.
