In a capitalist system, regulations are essential to ensure fair competition, and to protect consumers and prevent abuses. They establish rules that keep businesses accountable and contribute to a balanced and just economy.
Read something like "Clarence Darrow for the Defense" and see what it was like to work for the Pullman Car Company or eastern USA coal companies before there was oversight. Unregulated capitalism - like in the States in the late 1800s and early 1900s - can be really hard on normal people.
She appears to be unaware of abuses committed under unregulated capitalism folks.
