You do realize that ivermectin is as much a horse medicine as penicillin? In other words not at all. Both are human drugs that, like many others, are given to animals. The fact that penicillin is given to horses does not make it a horse antibiotic. Labelling ivermectin a horse paste was a clever piece of propaganda that worked on ignoramuses who did not realize that ivermectin has been used in humans for decades and is considered one of the essential drugs by the WHO. Aside from whether it is effective on covid, it has saved millions of lives from parasites.
But y'all were telling eachother to get apple flavoured paste meant for a 2 tonne animal and telling pregnant woman they would be safe. Y'all were convinced if was a miracle cure so much you didn't even check if it was tested for human consumption.
And all in all, it lead to at least 17,000 deaths.
But y'all were telling eachother to get apple flavoured paste meant for a 2 tonne animal ... would be safe
This kind of low information thinking is what lets the pharma companies peddle their vaxx poison
You do realize all drugs are adjusted for weight and size? If anyone took the exact dose meant for a two ton horse then they deserved to be Darwined. But not one did that. The internet was full of instructions on how to adjust for your body weight.
And to give you the reverse example. My cat was recently prescribed a HUMAN thyroid medication by his veterinarian.
Now assuming a human is about 160 pounds and my cat is 9 pounds, is the vet trying to murder him? No. The vet correctly told me how to break up the pills and give him a smaller fractional dose to account for his smaller weight.
The same is true for your hated horse paste which is actually a human medicine. When it is given to horses, the normal human dose is increased to account for their greater size.
But there is similarly no reason why a human could not just take less of the ivermectin
Your desperate efforts to vilify a proven medication which is so harmless that it is given en masse to US soldiers and illegal immigrants entering the US while thinking that an experimental vaccine could be proven safe after 90 days of testing is really low IQ stuff.
You're still not getting it: ivermectin was invented and first used on humans. It is human medicine. The fact it can be used in veterinarian medicine is typical of many other human medicines such as penicillin. Would you consider penicillin horse medicine because it is given to horses? And if not, why do you let pharma turn you into a propaganda tool when it comes to vermectin.

Sure drugs do what drugs are intended to do.

This is a meme I stole from someone here. Paste is based.

Because human medicine is okay for animals doesn't mean that animal medicine is okay for humans. It has a completely different safety standard.
