I saw one video produced about by the Base a couple of years ago and nothing has come up in the dissident right, nationalist nor neo nazi circles about them. No mention. Defuct groups like Atomwaffen come up every once in awile but no the Base.
Since the only serious mention of them is on government databases, NGOs and wikipedia I'll assume the Base is just a singular guy with a newsletter. It could be an actual neo-nazi or a fed.
Based on that timeline it's some guy who was involved with the Iron march website back in the day. There are like a couple dozen of these 'lone wolves' out there. I'd say the Iron march is what is radicalizing Nationalist Russians. This is all decentralized. Placing a name on it like the Base does not mean the base is a real organization.
