Yeah, but he won't get it. He checks only one box on the list of required victim-hood. Also, he used guns and was masculine. Nope, we're gonna get a indigenous trans woman who was murdered while working as a prostitute in Winnipeg.
Maybe so, but it’s not like we frequently rotate in new faces to put on our currency. Due to the timing of this decision, it smacks of cuckery, virtue signalling, and panders to this whole idea of paying now for injustices in the past. The past can’t be changed, no matter whose face you decide to slap on a fin, and that’s the main issue I have with this weak facade.
I agree it’s an easy way to celebrate prominent Canadians. And if that was the intention behind this, that would be great. But due to the fact it’s never been an issue before, and only suddenly now, I don’t think that’s the intention. It smacks of bending the knee, and that’s my issue.
To the greater activist narrative going on right now. It’s another example of the voice actor of Cleveland from Family Guy suddenly deciding to step down after 20 years. It’s bending the knee to white guilt. When the intent is clearly superficial it’s impossible for me to respect the decision, regardless of any other rationale that can be spun off it.

As much as I loathe indians
Here's the problem: Loathing someone because of the circumstances of their birth is actual racism. Not cool. We're all individuals and worthy of respect until we show we're not. Hate the Indian Act, or the people who perpetuate victimhood, those are acts worthy of loathing, but there are plenty on Indians deserving respect and even admiration, especially those who have overcome the shit many of them live with due to awful parents and a system that enables bad behaviour. (Gladue, I'm looking at you.)

“There are so many great Canadians worthy of consideration...” like the one that’s ALREADY ON THE BILL?

Much better than the woman who sneaked into the seats without paying then cried 'racism' when she got caught.
I would be in favour if he appeared on the bill in uniform. Either battle dress with rifle and gear or in parade dress with all the medals.
Until the father of confederation is re-added to the $10 bill I will consideration any other nominations to be treasonous.
Corporate needs you to find the difference between these pictures
They are the same picture.
