Fair points. I'm using the term "Marxist" in the vernacular sense, inaccurate as that may be. Care to suggest a better adjective?
It's hard for me to find an appropriate label for these people other than social justice warrior (SJW) or wokescold. Something of that nature. Maybe radlib (radical liberal). Which is a label that actually originated from old-school Marxist-Leninists online who are critical of identity politics (ie. BIPOC, LGBT, feminist pandering, etc.) It's bad enough that the label "liberal" has been perverted. I'm in my mid-30s. And I've always thought of myself as a liberal until the SJWs took over liberal discourse. When I first started becoming political in my teens, my attitude towards life was live and let life. And I felt that conservatives need to lighten up man. Now I feel that it's the "liberals" who need to lighten up. I didn't change. Liberalism changed. Liberalism morphed into something that is definitely not your daddy's liberalism or grand daddy's liberalism.
